About

I'm Michael Edukonis. This site is where I document projects, experiments, and things I am learning across computing, electronics, construction, alternative energy, geospatial analysis, and software development.

My background combines technology and hands on construction, which tends to shape the projects found here. I enjoy building things, figuring out how systems work, modifying existing technology, and documenting the results so they may be useful to someone else.

Current interests include residential solar and battery storage, microcontrollers and IoT devices, geospatial applications, computer hardware, software development, amateur radio-related projects, and restoring older electronics and games.

I hold a BS and MS in Computer Science. I have also completed a 4 year apprenticeship along with another decade of experience as a journeyman carpenter working on large commercial, industrial, and university projects. I currently work for the U.S. Government as a program manager supporting disaster assistance. All opinions, views, assertions, and content presented on this site are my own and do not represent the positions, policies, or views of the U.S. Government or any agency for which I work.
