This blog is deliberately simple. Rather than adding a database or a full content-management system, each entry lives in a directory based on its publication date.

The filing system

The URL is also the archive structure. A post published on August 23, 2026 lives at:

/blog/2026/08/23/

The blog index builds a year → month → day tree from those dated directories. That keeps the site easy to understand, easy to back up, and easy to move.

Why keep it small?

For a weekly post, the static approach avoids a lot of machinery. The pages remain normal HTML, the design stays consistent with the rest of edukonis.com, and the source can be kept under version control.

This first post also serves as a working example. Future entries can replace the body with project notes, photographs, code, reading notes, or anything else worth keeping.
